Hey Kids!Last night I found myself surrounded by some wonderful people by way of the Staerk F/W09' collection presentation, in the Penthouse of MILK studios, on a lovely Friday evening.
Camilla Staerk is a Danish designer and recent NYC transplant (Yay!) who took inspiration from the late Robbert Mapplethorpe's stark photographs for her twelve piece, completely wonderful F/W 09' line. Black, white and grey was the color palette and everything left me feeling extremely excited for fall. The styling of the show was impeccable and the whole installation was cohesive and fit the brand image in a unique way. Bravo!
Overall it was a great time with great vibes, favorites of the evening were great lighting, seeing the new wave of danish design and hearing the Liars pumping from the speakers, Brilliant!
